The reverence for death is part of human nature. This thinking and attitude towards death (in our part of the world) have been present since ancient times. On the basis of the modern age has been disappearing to become afraid of the unknown. "After death there anything else? Or just all over and beyond our existence.

Man has always had this fascination to discover and invent opposing dualities we find in everyday life (love and hate, light and shadow , life and death, etc.).

The general attitude in images that represent the deformity, death and dying, would be to look away. But in the nineteenth century, these images "live" filled the circus of deformities caused great commotion in the audience.

Choosing part of reality to build a world through fusion inert beings and create a stage set, this universe is generated by creating a new reality in which life and death meet. Giving a new meaning of beauty.

"I think that from any position, even from extreme poverty, disease or whatever, life has to offer the same potential for discovery. Otherwise I do not believe in life, or it sucks. "
